With over 25 years of experience in design and fabrication, Juan’s artistry in the skilled crafts is the result of decades of practice combined with a modern curiosity in the studio arts.

A third-generation carpenter born in Roswell, New Mexico, Juan began his training as a child, working alongside his father and brother. Certified in Fine Woodworking from SFCC and a proud member of IATSE 480 Union, with credits in; Stranger Things 4, The Curse, and Outer Range 2, among other productions.

In 2009, Juan co-founded Dialogue, a multi-use space in downtown Albuquerque that served as a shop, gallery, and performance venue. In 2020, during the global pandemic, he founded SIX O SIX Studio—a community centered harbor for creativity and craft.

‘My furniture and other sculptural works are designed to complement and complete the living space adding character and style. I continue to explore my process and technique’s striving for unknown boundaries and unrealized goals.’
